Lake Aniwhenua Lodge Fishing Report

Lake Aniwhenua has been fishing extremely well.

The water conditions have cleared since the heavy rains over Christmas and New Year.

There must be plenty of food available by the amount of activity out there on the lake.

The recent settled, hot sunny days have transformed everything and anglers, trout and insects alike have been rejoicing.

Spin fishers and trawlers have quickly been getting their limits without too much effort.

There have been consistent catches in the 3-4lb bracket.
